Nimb is built to need as little of your data as possible. You can read the map, the market pages and the docs without an account, an email address or a wallet. This policy explains what is processed when you use Nimb, why, and who else is involved. Nimb LLC is responsible for this processing.
In short
- No account, no name, no email needed. No advertising, no tracking cookies, no sale of data.
- Page views are counted with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not follow you across sites.
- If you connect a wallet, your public wallet address is used to show your balance and positions and to build your orders. It is not added to our analytics.
- Trades are public on Polygon and in Polymarket's data, like every Polymarket trade.
What is processed, and why
| Data | Why | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| Page views, referrer, country, device and browser type (Vercel Web Analytics) | To count visits and see which pages help, in aggregate | Aggregated by Vercel; no cookie; the daily visitor hash is discarded after 24 hours |
| Product events such as opening a market, connecting a wallet or placing an order (Vercel Web Analytics custom events) | To see where people get stuck, in aggregate | As above; events carry no wallet address or personal data |
| IP address and request details in server logs (Vercel) | To deliver pages, run Nimb's small server functions, and keep them secure | Short-term logs kept by Vercel under its retention periods |
| Country and region from your IP address | To tell you whether Polymarket lets you open positions from where you are | Used for that answer only; not stored by Nimb |
| Wallet address (if you connect) | To show your balance and positions, prepare orders and deposits, and pass them to Polymarket | In your browser; sent to the services below when needed; not stored by Nimb |
| Orders and positions | To trade on Polymarket. Orders through Nimb carry Nimb's builder code so Polymarket can pay Nimb's fee | Public on Polygon and in Polymarket's data, permanently |
| Messages you send us | To answer you | As long as needed to deal with your message |
Where data protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving a free service and keeping it secure, and on what is needed to carry out what you ask Nimb to do, such as placing an order.
Wallet addresses
A wallet address is public: anyone can see its balances and trades on Polygon. It can still identify you if it is linked to you elsewhere, so we treat it with care:
- Nimb never asks for your recovery phrase or private keys and could not use them.
- Your address is used in your browser to read your balance and positions from Polymarket and from the Polygon network, partly through Nimb's own network proxy, which forwards the request and keeps no record of it beyond Vercel's standard logs.
- When you deposit or withdraw, your address is sent to Polymarket's bridge so it can create a deposit address or route the transfer.
- Polymarket trading keys created when you set up trading are kept in your browser's local storage only, so you do not have to sign again on every visit. Disconnecting in Nimb removes them.
- We do not combine wallet addresses with names, emails or analytics, and we do not sell them.
The largest holders shown on market pages are public Polymarket wallets, shown with the name they chose on Polymarket, or a shortened address.
Who else is involved
- Vercel hosts Nimb, runs its server functions and provides Web Analytics.
- Polymarket receives your orders, deposits and withdrawals, and provides market, holder and position data. Its own privacy policy applies to what it processes.
- The Polygon network and its RPC providers process your wallet's reads and transactions.
- Your wallet provider (for example MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, or a wallet reached through WalletConnect) handles your keys and signatures under its own terms.
- Google Fonts and Cloudflare's cdnjs deliver the typeface and a charting library, so your browser connects to them when it loads a page.
Some of these providers are based in the United States or process data there.
Your choices and rights
- You can use Nimb without connecting a wallet, and disconnect at any time.
- You can clear Nimb's local storage in your browser settings; see cookies and local storage.
- Many browsers and blockers can turn off analytics scripts. Nimb works the same without them.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Write to louis@rightclcksaveas.com. Data that is public on a blockchain cannot be deleted by anyone.
Nimb is not meant for anyone under 18.
